How to Remove Link of Your Bracelet Watch Band
What You Need
- Your mesh watch
- Free adjustment tool (included in the package)
Important: Always remove links evenly from both sides of the bracelet to keep the clasp centered.
For example, if you need to remove 4 links total, remove 2 from each side.
Step 1: Determine Links to Remove
- Put the watch on the wrist and count how many links feel too loose
- Remove equal numbers from each side to keep the clasp centered
- Usually 1-3 links total
Step 2: Position the Adjustment Tool
- Place the bracelet in the tool with the link you want to remove positioned over the pin pusher
- Align the pin pusher with the pin
Step 3: Remove the Pin
- Slowly turn the handle of the adjustment tool clockwise
- Apply steady, gentle pressure – the pin should start to move
- Continue until the pin comes out completely
- Note: Some pins may be tight initially – this is normal
Step 4: Separate the Link
- Once the pin is removed, the link should separate easily
- Keep the pin in a safe place if you plan to reinstall the link later
- Repeat for additional links as needed
Step 5: Reconnect the Bracelet
- Align the remaining bracelet sections Insert the pin back through both pieces
- Use the adjustment tool in reverse (counterclockwise) to push the pin fully through
Step 6: Test the Fit
- Put the watch on to check the fit
- The bracelet should move freely but not slide over your hand
- If it is still too loose, repeat the process to remove more links
That’s it! Your watch band is now properly sized for your wrist.
